Obat IV Anestesi

Obat IV anestesi antara lain :  Thiopental (Pentothal), Ketamin (Phencyclidine), Propofol (Isopropylphenol), dan Etomidate (Carboxylate imidazole)

1) Thiopental (Pentothal)

• Barbiturate : ultra-short-acting-barbiturate
• Kerja cepat, induksi nyaman (30-40menit)
• Dapat mencapai semua stage anestesi
• Tapi dapat mengakibatkan depresi cardiovaskular yang serius  

Macam Obat Anestesi

Obat anestesi berdasarkan cara penggunaannya, dapat dibagi menjadi :

1. Inhalation (volatile) anesthetics
2. Non-volatile anesthetics
3. Neuromuscular blocking agents
4. Local anesthetics
5. Autonomic NS drugs
6. Adjuncts to anesthesia
